Need a little help. I put the Chieftain up on a lift to adjust my belt tension and I could not get a 6 point or a 12 point socket to fit. Am I missing something here or does this require a special thin walled socket? I've tried metric and standard with no luck. The clearance between the swing arm and the nut is pretty tight. Any help would be appreciated. By the way my local dealer wants $70 to adjust the belt tension. Kind of steep for a ten minute adjustment.

I use Mac 1/4 inch drive 13MM deep well 6 point works great. Some cheaper brand sockets are thick wall sockets. Snap On or Mac work best. I also adjust drive belt myself. Good luck.
