Looking at buying this, it sounds kinda squeaky to me. I can't go see it in person as it's 4 states away from where I live.

Sounds pretty normal for a Scout with OEM pipes!

That is exactly the sound a Scout 60 makes. I believe it is the sound of the primary chain that you think is squeaky. Louder pipes help. Great choice if you get it. What year is it?

If the price is reasonable, I would buy it. Even if you don't change pipes, you get used to the noise. It goes away after 3000rpm; it is mostly heard in slow first and second, or revs like in the video. Good luck on your decision.

That poor quality video does exaggerate it just a bit...

My scout had the whine, a combination of straight cut gear driven primary and fuel injector whine. Stage 2 pipes and it's fixed. :)
