There was recently a thread in which the theory was posited that the two-tone paint on the 2015s was accomplished by clear-coating over a decal. I decided to ask Indian/Polaris and this was their response:

Good afternoon Michael,
Thank you for contacting Indian Motorcycle Parts Resolutions in regards to the two-tone paint on your future 2015 Indian Chief Vintage.
The two-tone paint is actual paint and is completed at our Spirit Lake, Iowa facility. We do not use a decal with clear to accomplish the two-tone paint.
Have a great day and enjoy your brand new Indian Chief Vintage.

I went to Spirit Lake and toured the facility, including the paint shop. I seriously doubted the two tone was accomplished by a decal but it's nice to hear it right from the factory!!
