Last year I spent $ 2400 going to Daytona Bike Week. This year I'm riding around Ct. & Mass. In 60 and 70 degree weather for free. Well almost free I did leave work early a few times!!!

Oh I've been to bike week several times and the Daytona 500 once and I just came back from the Daytons Rolex 24 which explains no Bike Week for me this year! But I'm riding at home so who cares?

Next year is 80th anniversary of Daytona bike week, so the germans will be back there - for the full 10 days.

I can never understand the draw of these big rally's. All there is is drinking, pushing through crowds, drunks, half-naked women, spending money on stupid stuff.
... Damn! When's the next rally? I'm missing out on a lot of fun! Lol!

Fortunately I'm less that an hour ride from the speedway. I was there yesterday for a few hours. Checked out the ultimate seats. Was actually the police there 25 years ago so with met some old police friends and had dinner. Slept in my own bed with my staffy!
