Heat gun or hair dryer, heat up the adhesive and peel them off. Then use rubbing alcohol to remove left over residue

The heat gun works great, but I've always used GooGone instead of the alcohol afterwords. Works better, IMO.

Also, after the heat gun, get some monofilament fishing line to run between the chrome piece and the adhesive. The Chrome piece will come off and then you'll peel off the remaining sticky tape. Use the googone to clean up the residue.

Has anybody installed these lights? The instructions say to remove the existing chrome strip. How do you go about removing the original chrome strip?

Did you get it? If not, easiest way is some plastic fishing line, saw the adhesive off.
