Heads up on earlier 2017 Chieftains and any other Thunderstroke motor. My mpg took a dump, was getting 40's lately it's been in the low to mid 30's. I discovered 2- one inch splits on my intake to charcoal canister rubber hose line one on each end. Got my mpg back. May want to check or swap out yours, easy $4 fix.

Mine was removed by the previous owner, hoses just hanging.
I removed my charcoal/smog stuff as well, but you may want to check that the lines got securely plugged. Otherwise you may be getting a vacuum leak.

Checked my intake gaskets as well.

I crammed a dab of RTV silicone in each of the lines after disconnecting the charcoal can.
