Does it sit lower than the stock seat?

It about an inch back. The padding is firm and supportive. Not as fluffy as the stocker and the nose is slimmer. It gives you the feeling of sitting deeper into the bike. So I don't think it's much lower but sitting further back gives you that feeling. I'm 6'1" 280 and I end up sitting on the seat rivets on the stocker.
