My cluster went bad so the dealer replaced it, However he told me there is no way to calibrate the odometer to the existing miles. Has anyone else ran across this or know if it's true? Seems a little strange to me, I changed odometer on a street glide with aftermarket and could set the miles. I guess now when I go to sell the bike it will be TMU. Just doesn't seem right.

The dealer and Indian should give you a letter/statement certifying the mileage of the odometer from the instrument cluster that was removed. That letter will keep you out of trouble with the Feds. There is a very big fine and/or prison sentence for falsifying odometer readings. That letter is of paramount importance!!! I cannot stress how vital that document will be!!!
