Just got a new Chieftain and the clock does not advance, just stays at the same time it was when I set it. I assume the dealer has to fix this but thought maybe there was a solution I could do.

Isn't there a piece of plastic that has to be removed, either on the stem or the battery box, for the clock to work?

I need to replace the battery in my Indian desk clock. I have tried every imaginable way of removing the back of the chrome/plastic clock, but to no avail. Without making fun of my mechanical abilities, how do you get to the battery?
