I was wondering if I can just spray them off at a car wash and not hurt the brakes? Also, should you put tire black on motorcycle tires side walls or with they be slick in the corners?

Never put a pressure washer anywhere near your bike wheels, think about your bearings, ABS and brake problems that could be caused by this.
I have plenty of experience by being stupid enough to do this.

I'd recommend against any treatment on your tires.

Even if you a perfect job of only treating the sidewalls you have centrifugal force to reckon with. It will sling your treatment out towards the tread and you really don't want that to happen.

If you're going to use any tire dressing and I do but plan on not riding for a few days after to let it dry real good.

I use water based tire dressing on all my stuff. Let it dry overnight and there is zero slinging. Unlike the crap used at auto dealers that will sling all over the side of your shiny new car.
