Hello all ,I have a 2020 Indian scout grate bike but while riding today the yellow engine symbol came on the console ,
But no ck engine came on the unit even toggled through and could not find it,turned the key on and off several times still there ,started the engine still there ,but still no ck engine message on unit so unable to find any code anyone able to help

I'd say look in your owner's manual and check what possibilities under check engine light. Look over your bike for anything needing attention.

Could be several things. Sidestand switch, tilt sensor etc. There should be a three digit code that you can decipher. To get to it:

1. Use the mode button to toggle until "Ck Eng" displays on the main line of the display.
2. Then press and hold the MODE button to enter the diagnostic code menu.
3. Record the three numbers displayed in the gear position, clock and odometer displays.

Error codes display only during the current ignition cycle. When the ignition switch is turned OFF, the code and message is lost, but will reappear if the fault occurs after restarting the engine.

If you're following due process and not getting a code it'll be a dealership visit to see what can be thrown up on 'Digital Wrench.'

You could try this, worked on my FTR but not sure if it'll work on a Scout?

Reset Error/Trouble Codes

Ignition Key (IK) OFF
Kill Switch (KS) OFF
Turn IK ON
Turn KS ON
Fuel pump will cycle
Turn KS OFF
Turn IK OFF
Wait 10 seconds
Repeat sequence another three (3) times ...... That’s four (4) times in total.
At the fourth (4th) time, start the bike after the fuel pump has cycled.
Run the engine for 30 seconds, then shut down normally.
Most (if not all) codes should have cleared to the historic memory.

Thanks done both if those ideas the on off ideas not worked and the problem with the ck engine code is there is no code or ck engine on display unit only the yellow engine symbol
