Has anyone tried to mount the Chieftain trunk on the Indian Chief Vintage simply by changing the spools, I think the hard trunk with the tan passenger covers could work.

Indian's website only shows trunk on the Chieftain. However the mounts appear to be the same. I would ask dealer to be sure. $1800 quite expensive for a trunk. Got a leather trunk on mine for less than $500

I have the extra large trunk from bossbags.com check out there website. They do custom work also. Don't see many tan trunks may need to be custom made. Measures 16"w x 13"h x 13"d
