I cannot get a clear answer from Indian. Are the seat specs the same for the 22 super cheif and 22 chief? Common sense would say yes, but it is Indian brand so...
Anyone with knowledge on this subject?

The seat on the Super Chief has a small skirt attached to the main saddle. The seat on the Chief is a plain solo seat without the skirt. They are different part numbers but share common mounting points.

Yes. Any of the seats from any of the 22+ Chiefs are interchangeable.

So to clarify why I asked, theoretically, I could fit an aftermarket seat for a 22 Cheif onto the super cheif? Which would make sense. But Indian would not give me a solid answer. (I know, it is money driven)

If you look on Indian’s website, every seat is listed as fitting every 22+ model Chief. I have a Chief bobber extended reach seat and Super Chief passenger seat on my Chief Darkhorse 😂
