Just saw this posted by Lloydz on YouTube. I know we heard this about a year ago that Lloydz Challenger cams are “coming soon.” This is the latest update of “soon,” which is 2-3 months. We’ll see…

approaching the 12-week point on these cams, have there been any announcements that I’ve missed yet?

some one asked Lloyd’s on the FaceBook pages the other day and they said 8-12weeks. LOL

no way hahaha i guess they aren’t lying about the 8-12 weeks, just not mentioning the day the 12-week wait starts

September 2022 Amanda said they were enroute from New Zeland . Then they say they have a new vendor. And 8-12 weeks. They just said they have been shipped, 8-12 weeks.

One thing to consider is possibly since Indian owns the patent on the compression release. These new cams may have a different design and may not working well. The original limited run of Lloyd’s cams were simply stock cams regrounded
It’s crossed my mind the new encryption used on the ‘23 Challenger ECM may be a factor in going forward with the cam release. As it stands now, the cams could only be used on three model years - so is it worth the developmental cost to release a product that’s limited to ‘20-‘22 PP108s?

Lloydz (Ryan) will have it unlocked here pretty soon. Apparently, they have made a lot of progress.

I’ve demoed the K1600 twice, it’s a torque-monster beast. Would love to have one.

Beautiful motorcycle the power is unreal on that bike.I owned 2019 good luck and be safe hard to stay off the throttle
I am disappointed in the K1600b gas’s mileage. It’s supposed to get 47mpg but for some odd reason, I average 32.3…..LOL

Traded my K1600 for the Challenger. Don't really miss it, yet a great bike to have. The entry price is about the same, but that's about where the similarity ends.

The cams are worth the wait. If there was a year wait in 2015 for the TS cams, we would've long forgotten it by now. Same will happen here. More options and more improvements since the initial run over a year ago when I got the 3rd set installed. Expect over 140whp with the right combos.

Loved my K1600B. I put the Remus quad exhaust on. Improved the sounds and loved the look. Enjoy.

You might want to go on Lloyd's website and look at some of his videos regarding the new engine. I believe the cam cover on top of the engine prevents installing these cams without dropping the motor. Dean
I noticed Millennium Technologies now makes a Revolution Performance 112 CI big bore kit for Challenger. ($1699.95)
As long as you are going to drop the engine to install cams you might as well go all the way. Another option if need to “have it now” would be to use Indian Stage 2 cams and a Revolution Performance BBK together.

I'm definitely ready for these to come out. My warranty is up now anyway and I want more power. If it wasn't for the cost of admission I'd be going Stage 2 cams just to hold me over, but thats a lot of money fora minimal gain. I've been looking into doing it myself but can't get the rocker release tool and according to RVS I'll still need the dealer flash/tune installed before I send him my ECU, so that means trailer the bike to the dealership anyways after doing the work.

The Revolution/M3 BBK is also very tempting. They're reporting similar numbers with the Stage 2 cams and 112 kit as what was shown with the Lloydz cams. Now combine the two and holy heck. Brannon said that their race bike's 112 setup makes less torque than the street kit, but just over 180hp!! Custom head, custom cams, custom intake/tb setup, and stand alone ECM all involved there so not exactly street practical. Still, it shows the potential these engines have.

Hopefully by the end of the summer we will finally see some serious options being available. Ideally for me would be to get the 112 kit and Lloydz cams to install myself while waiting on the ECU to get shipped back/forth without any trips to a dealership. Do I need 160-180hp in a bike that has zero problems hauling butt well beyond legal speeds with just a tune and 2:1 exhaust? Of course not, but I want it. Like a fat girl in a purple suit, I want it and I want it NOW. LOL

From what I've seen floating around FB is the power numbers are similar between the 112 kit w/ Stage 2 cams and Sawiki exhaust and TC Champ's results with the Lloydz cams.

would love to see numbers on lloydz cams vs lloydz cams + bbk.
hoping lloydz cams are available by the time they can tune 2023s so i can do it all at once.
do i (or my local shop/buddy) need this tool for lloydz cams? is it something he would already have or specific to pp108?
also you mentioned trailering bike after cams…is it not able to run at all, or shouldn’t, without tune even short distances? so if i take my bike to a shop to have lloydz cams installed i’ll need to ship off the ecu while it’s being worked on?
