There is a local Bike show in 2 weeks here locally. Not a big major event. I am not usually into keeping my '17 Roadmaster spotless and 110% shiney, but I keep her clean and nice. What should I do extra or expect from judging? Do they get super picky, look underneath a lot? I know my wheels and tires need cleaning and underside of pipes etc...any tips. Mainly just for fun and to look at other bikes.I think they are having a few classes to judge. Thanks in advance
Locally the car enthusiasts run the shows here. Sometimes they allow motorcycles in their shows but mostly they don't. Bike shows are more common in the larger cities 40 to 50 miles away.
Depends on the size of the field. The bigger the field, the more details count. At the biggest shows you’ll see judges out there with white gloves and q tips for the final three.
There are different kinds of bike show criteria. It depends on the classes that they have if there is a class for late model touring bikes or "cruisers" you might win something. Sometimes a late model stock bike won't have a class to enter, some shows are for antique or custom bikes only and have stricter judging some shows are looser and open to all bikes. it'll be fun either way.
