I figured it would be nice to see when people are ordering bikes and how long it's taking. We do this kind of thing in the hellcat forums too, which is why I wonder why it hasn't been done? List your order dates and update your post if you get the bike delivered or receive an update.

Ordered:
Challenger Dark Horse Icon late April.
Edit: lol, dude at indian emailed me saying he talked to the floor and got them to bump my build up asap, because it was supposed to be prioritized under these circumstances. I told him, but it's supposed to ship by 4 days from now, 7/31.... how is it still sitting there unfinished.
Edit: Just changed to built with firm ship date.

That's a happy dude right there... enjoy the bike sir! (great taste in color selection)
I think some of the timing relates to delivery destination as I doubt they're going to roll a partially filled truck.

Anyway, my order status (copied from a model specific order thread) delivery to Des Moines IA area.

Black Smoke Midnight Rogue ordered 5/14, was in scheduled status by the time I got around to checking today (5/26).

Exactly... logistics play a key roll here. If any of you have ever shipped vehicles it's an interesting experience. Virtual job boards (can't remember the technical name) show all of the vehicles that need shipping to different destinations, and truckers fill certain orders depending upon their routes etc. I'm sure this gets even more complex with the more bikes you add to one truck etc. I'm also certain these routes have been a long time established but still... delays happen, haggling on shipping prices etc.

I was stupid... I ordered mine on May 19th I believe; I was late to the party this year. Hoping to get my black smoke bobber mid July, but wouldn't be surprised by an August delivery; that would be my 1yr anniversary of moving here to Utah and finally getting my life going in the direction I want it. 1) Move to Utah for travel destinations, 2) Buy Indian motorcycle 3) Travel throughout the Mountain West and Southwest.

Yeah, I was May 14 for mine, but I'm a short trip for the delivery, only about 3 hours from Spirit Lake. :)
My sad story!! I have posted parts of the story in other sections of this Forum but thought I would put it all together here.

-Decided to purchase a Scout Bobber, July of 2021
-Drive 2hrs to nearest dealership. NO stock. 12+ weeks for delivery (this time frame is the end of riding season in ONT Canada)
-Ordered bike Dec 16, 2021
  • Email confirmation followed 5-6 days later.
  • Progress bar went to SCHEDULED approximately mid Jan (can't remember exact date) Shipping TBD
-Dealer contacted me April 15 with an update. Shipping date is scheduled April 16 to May 31 (6 week delivery window)
  • 5-6 days later Progress stayed at SCHEDULED but shipping changes to April 16 to May 31 (same info deal provided)
  • June 1, contacted dealer. (my first inquiry since purchase) Dealer informs my shipping is "TBD". Email Indian (Corp, not dealer) as to what is going on
  • Email received, Case number given to my inquiry, follower by a text asking "what dealer I purchased at". I forwarded to info.
-June 2, Progress still at SCHEDULED, shipping changed back to "TBD" waiting on a reply from my inquiry to Indian!

In my 50's now but feeling like a child that was shown a lollypop and told, "You can't have it!"
I feel for ya... been thru the same, in a slightly different way. Back in 2012 I'd heard rumblings of a "unicorn" being built by Ford in Germany. An AWD Focus RS putting out 350hp/ft lb. I spent 5yrs saving for a downpayment, then 2017 arrived. I went over to the Ford dealership and picked up my ride, and 7 months later realized mine was one of the VIN that had the wrong head-gasket installed. They tried to replace the gasket but the tech doing the work screwed up the tappet kit, he turned the engine over and BOOOM!

I spent another 6 months going thru the reacquired vehicle (replacement) process with Ford, arguing/fighting etc. I even had to argue with my lender because they didn't want to do the deal at first; what gives? Brand new vehicle for old vehicle amount?? Who wouldn't take that deal. So 6 months later I finally get my 2018 Focus RS, watched it roll off the truck via Georgia from Germany (I was in North Carolina at the time). I picked up the vehicle right away, started driving down the road... and I swear... I've never seen anything like it but, a huge semi-truck lost its entire exhaust system in front of me. One 6ft section broke off, I tried to dodge, but it went right thru the front end of the car... took out the rad and the intercooler. One month later after going thru insurance and having that mess cleared up, I took the car right from the auto-body shop to a family gathering on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in NC. I was broad sided by a drunk driver on the driver side, and pushed into oncoming traffic, t-boned on the passenger side and lay unconscious in the middle of the road. Some other crazy/bizarre nuances but (50 miles on odo)... wasn't meant to have that car I guess.

Anyways... it can always be worse, I'm just glad I have a bobber in the queue; bought radical radius pipes which are sitting in my living room right now etc. Anyways, I'm enjoying the anticipation...

Wow
Now that's a crazy story!!!
I guess this is an exercise in patients.
As I've heard before... This too shall pass!
Can you list all your mods?

Looks like lights...pipe...floor boards? Front and rear "crash" bars. New various engine covers?

Are the bars stock, but just lowered/pulled back?
Ordered Challenger Dark Horse 2022 in November. Scheduled to build 04/01-30, delayed to 05/01-31. Now say’s Scheduling Build “to be determined “. Not sure if I’ll see this anytime soon. Trying to stay positive.

My online tracker still only says confirmed. Has said confirmed the whole time. Had the same original ship date as you April 16 to May 31. New ship date is the same as yours as per dealership discussion June 6 to June 30. Ordered December 3/2021.
Starting to wonder how much of the riding season I am going to get to enjoy. Ship date by end of June. At least until they move it back again !!

Same. The dealer told me upfront that the ballpark was end of July or early August.....I was a bit shocked, but also wasn't really doing the math totally. I was sort of in that excited just ordered a bike "fog", and just sort of said "okay". When I got home, I was like...wait...it's still May.....August?!?!?!? 😂

Luckily, I still have something to ride while I wait. That, and the weather has been pretty meh too. Having said that, I'm still hoping that I'm somehow going to be one of the lucky ones that get his bike fast (doubtful).
