Thanks Frank, much appreciated. I'm really not that frustrated about not being able to ride... its the timing with it, the extra hassle it will cause me etc. I also just wish they'd spend the extra money that they spent on "coasters and tin signs" on upgrading their portal server; instead of telling everyone it will be down for a few days.You have very eloquently said what I was thinking for the last 3-4months of my 7month wait.
Even my Indian dealership experience was strangely similar, with the exception of a nice lady I contacted when parts or service failed to respond to my calls and emails.
I can say that the wait is worth it. Once you get your bike, All the bullshit seems to disappear.
I never expected to make friends at the dealership or have loyalty to Indian.
Looks, reliability followed by price are the factors used in my discussion but reading your post reminds me of
the bitterness I was feeling throughout the waiting process.
Hope your wait is soon over!
Hopefully the bike itself is "reliable" and a good investment (wind therapy). Just praying I don't get a lemon at this point; every manufacturer has them.
