When did you order? I ordered December 3, 2021. Crazy it takes that long to get a bobber.

May 13, but I ordered a SDH. It's all the dark parts that have been issue...or so that I am told.

Current status: scheduled with a ship date of 6/24. That would be 30 weeks from the date of order. Hope it actually ships by the 24th!

Just got an email from the dealership. They have a black smoke scout bobber that someone backed out on. I can have that one if I want. It’s not Maroon metallic smoke but I can have it now. The estimate I am getting from the dealership is ship date of June 1 to June 30. Decisions decisions

In addition to what you are hearing from the dealer, does the website support what the dealer is saying? If you've waited this long AND you still prefer the Maroon...what's another 3 weeks (assuming it doesn't slip past the 30th).

That does't make me feel too good. Mine at least has two green dots. Makes me wonder what the dealer is basing their estmated range on. I ordered my bike on 5/13, and the dealer verbally said "Late July/Early August". But I sort of put more stock in what the website says, since one would think that info is updated by an uninterested 3rd party that has to be getting some sort of "official" info before making changes.

Apparently the tracker website is more like a Domino’s Pizza tracker, They do not update it with precision/kind of for show…

Good point. It also drives a little bit of traffic to the site....folks that have already ordered stuf...so maybe something else will catch their eye. I tend to check the status a lot....otherwise I would probably never go to the site

Quick question:

Some people have contacted Indian Motorcycles directly, rather than going through the dealership... does anyone have that contact information available?

I haven't heard squat, or 'jack-sh*t' from my dealership, so I'd like to see where in the queue my bike is; currently says "Scheduled".

*Quick thanks to Indian Motorcycles (Trent) for responding to my email within a few hours. Two-Thumbs Up for customer service by Indian Motorcycle (that's much easier and quicker than pulling info from my dealership)

That's great news to hear...I ordered mine bike 5/13...so I hope I can expect something simular. However, based on a lot of other feedback in this thread, estimated shipping dates can and will change. Fingers crossed for both of us.

Another concern of mine is that your Scout Bobber has chrome parts....engine and pipes....so that might be why your getting some new news. My order is a Dark Horse, so who knows about my timing.

I emailed for an update on Wednesday using the applet on the main Indian site, and so far no response. I thought their goal/promise was two business days....not too much time left for today.

They responded right away, but it went into my junk folder. My bad.

Maybe. I think a lot of buyers are going to be leveling off, or even going away if we go into a recession and inflation continues. If the economy really goes into a slump, then this increased demand willl go away real quick.

I reached out to Indian two days ago via their webstie, no answer so far.*** I was, not really anymore, sort of blindly hoping that maybe I would be one of the lucky ones and get a bike real quick. It's been a little over a month since I placed the order.

I ordered a SDH, and really struggled with the Black or Grey. I went with Black for two reasons....it seemed the "safe" choice, and secondly, while the grey is REALLY great looking, it wasn't a matte finish. That said, when I see pics of the grey, it makes me wonder. Also, even though I will bag on Indian for only having two color choices, it's probalby a blessing. If they had that maroon, or even the sage brush green (or whatever it's called) for 2022 for the SDH, it would have made the decision even harder.

I think it's pretty accurate. Unfortunately, scheduled basically means they have the parts to get started. Confirmed means the order is confirmed and they are waiting to get the bike schedules bikes on parts availability.


Anything Dark horse, blacked out, etc is going to be a long time.

My order says both "Confirmed" and "Scheduled"....which are the frist two dots on their timeline. So are you saying that since I'm Scheduled, they have all the parts to building my bike?
