Bike Order Master Tracking List

I figured it would be nice to see when people are ordering bikes and how long it's taking. We do this kind of thing in the hellcat forums too, which is why I wonder why it hasn't been done? List your order dates and update your post if you get the bike delivered or receive an update.

Ordered:
Challenger Dark Horse Icon late April.
Edit: lol, dude at indian emailed me saying he talked to the floor and got them to bump my build up asap, because it was supposed to be prioritized under these circumstances. I told him, but it's supposed to ship by 4 days from now, 7/31.... how is it still sitting there unfinished.
Edit: Just changed to built with firm ship date.

Originally from Ann Arbor yup, father was an M grad, and I grew up about a mile away from the stadium (BigHouse); I didn't get in, had to go to Hopkins instead (lmao). I've been back a few times since my family left in '84, and glad I never stayed, but enjoy the game day atmosphere. Been to quite a few college stadiums actually, and enjoyed each one; UF Florida "The Swamp" is where we left my brother for his college career... that place is also amazing! Never seen that many jorts and daisy dukes in my life... just a riot lol. Also been to UNLV's stadium which is really neat and BYU, and Utah (both fun places).

I remember as a kid (long long time ago), traveling up to Canada... and visiting a theme park; can't remember the name of it. However, what I remember most is how 'clean' Canada was/is! If I could stomach the cold weather I would move up there in a heartbeat, but Vegas spoiled me because it's riding weather year-round; though July and August are brutal... nothing like riding when it's 110 degrees outside and you feel like your shoes are going to melt to the pavement lol.

As far as "black exhaust" goes...order the black heat shields, or just paint it black; someone else on here did Krylon Matte Finish and I think it was darn near a perfect match with the paint that Indian uses; I can picture a whole bunch of Indian employees picking up boxes of Krylon at Home Depot lmao...
Theme park… Wonderland near Toronto or Boblo Island (in Detroit River, across from Amhurstburg)
Boblo closed decades ago. The only ones I can think of.

Daisy dukes. Lmoa
Will look into options for black, next season. Just want to enjoy what’s left of this season
I reached out to Indian two days ago via their webstie, no answer so far.*** I was, not really anymore, sort of blindly hoping that maybe I would be one of the lucky ones and get a bike real quick. It's been a little over a month since I placed the order.

I ordered a SDH, and really struggled with the Black or Grey. I went with Black for two reasons....it seemed the "safe" choice, and secondly, while the grey is REALLY great looking, it wasn't a matte finish. That said, when I see pics of the grey, it makes me wonder. Also, even though I will bag on Indian for only having two color choices, it's probalby a blessing. If they had that maroon, or even the sage brush green (or whatever it's called) for 2022 for the SDH, it would have made the decision even harder.

*** They responded right away, but for some reason went into the JUNK folder.

I took delivery on same model and color a week ago. Enjoying the ride, but it is so tempting to turn that throttle during break in.
Do it. Break-in on a modern motor's mostly a persistent myth.

My bike was delayed (now scheduled 6/1-6/31) but Indian did call and email me quickly saying it would be in production this month. On a positive note I got my trunk so I know they at least have the storm blue paint!

That’s the answer I got from asking son the Indian website. The dealership tells me that his info still says it is scheduled to ship by June 30. Might have it by august !!!!

Sounds like it will not be delayed again. That's good news!
I'm hoping my bike will be on the same truck. Our dealership's are hours apart.

Coincidently yesterday, at my local Tim Horton, getting coffee, I struck a conversation with a man driving a Chieftain. Told me he had a friend that also ordered a SB in Dec and still waiting.

LMAO... My father grew up in Cleveland, he was a traitor (thankfully) and went to UM, they're driving up from North Carolina for the PSU game this year; they drive straight thru Columbus... pretty sure his license plate says GOBLUE Evil Snicker.

+1... Modern tolerances are much MUCH smaller than they used to be. I'd still make sure that you're varying RPMs frequently but a few flicks of the wrist aren't going to damage anything. That being said I wouldn't be going around red-lining it either; bouncing off the limiter isn't good for any engine.
I filled out the message applet on the Indian site last Wednesday, I thought I read something about a 2 business days response....so far nothing.

My mistake, they replied right way, but it went into my junk folder.

I would ping them again...

I messed up....They did respond right a way, but it went into my junk folder. I tried to correct all my statements, but must have missed one.

Why did my order progress go backwards?
Some vehicles going through final preparation and inspection are deemed to not be at our high quality standards. Because of this, it is possible your order will be fulfilled by the next available machine.

Mine has said confirmed and only confirmed since December. I am not even sure how accurate that tracker is.

I think it's pretty accurate. Unfortunately, scheduled basically means they have the parts to get started. Confirmed means the order is confirmed and they are waiting to get the bike schedules bikes on parts availability.

Anything Dark horse, blacked out, etc is going to be a long time.

Yep, not surprising. There is also a world shortage of matt black paint as well.
