Better hand grips for Scout Bobber

Hi All,
My wife has a 2020 Scout Bobber which currently has just the stock handgrips on it. She finds on longer rides she gets a sore throttle hand and wrist. She is 5'2", quite petite, with pretty small hands. As a first step, I've ordered her a cramp buster to see if she likes it and it helps. We are also considering either the Brakeaway throttle lock or going all out and getting the McCruise Cruse control module.
However, she would also like some nicer, more comfortable grips, probably heated ones. I've heard of Avon and Kuryakyn grips but my Google Fu is not good enough to find model types which state they will fit the Bobber.
Recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I'm considering new bars and if I do get them, I'll likely switch to the koso heated grips.I have a set of the Indian oem heated grips - they were a freebee when I bought the bike - and I'm not very impressed with the function against the price. Yes, they are slightly larger and they do produce heat but they are very expensive.
My brother and I have fitted the Koso Apollo (Technoglobe in the EU) heated grips on several bikes and they are better. They have a bigger range of heat settings and a discrete control button at half the price! Seek them out. Others on this forum have fitted them too.

I ended up getting the Koso Apollo grips for the wife and have installed them. Unfortunately, the first time she left them on by accident, the advertised features.....

Did NOT work, and the battery was completely flat by the next morning. Not happy, but what can you do?
So, I want to connect them to a switched plug. I have found a 3 pin plug that is switched power (pictures attached) but unfortunately it seems impossible to buy a plug that fits this plug here in Australia. The only other plug I can find down near the battery (where I've wired the grips already and don't want to have to bother re-wiring the whole thing if I can avoid it) that has switched power is a weird 5 pin plug that I'm pretty sure would be for something else.
I was wondering if you or your mates could advise which plug to use and where it is located?

I installed the Koso grips about two years ago. They are tit! I wired them to the switched accessory line with in-line fuse they supplied... so no worry about leaving them on.
They were a major pain to install, especially the throttle side because you have to strip/salvage the throttle barrel under the OEM grip. But they work great and having the integrated control is really nice (no separate controller to mount).

Yeah, those are the ones I have. Not sure about any in-line fuse though. Instructions said to wire them straight to the batter and so I did. Unfortunately they killed the battery the first time they were accidently left on overnight. I notice a couple of reviews at Revzilla mention the same thing happening. So I guess QC isn't as good as it should be.

I would generally advise that any heated grips should be wired up through a switched relay to avoid such battery draining problems.

As you may have gathered from other posts, there is a single spade switched power supply already provided by Indian but it's wrapped up in the tape around the main wiring loom that runs next to the battery and supplies the fusebox. Slide the fusebox out of it's holding clip and lift it up. This exposes the underside of the loom.Look for the point at which the three red wires go into the loom from the battery terminal. About an inch further back, look underneath the loom around that point. Be prepared to pull away some of the loom insulation to find it.
That spade can supply a small relay - I use Motogadget solid state relays because they are small and don't need much room.

Hi Jonty03, thanks for the information. With your directions I was able to find the spade switched power supply at last! The entire wire and spade connector and all but a tiny bit of the loose shrink wrap past the end of the spade was covered by the loom insulation and without your directions I don't think I would have ever found it! Thanks again.
