Thanks for sharing that review. Once again as mention in another Scout thread the Europe and Asia Scouts have ABS. Wonder why the U.S. version doesnt.

New rules to make motorsycles safer and greener got the thumbs up from the European Parliament on November 20, 2012. They are to apply to all powered two- and three-wheel vehicles, from mopeds to heavy motorcycles, and also quads, as of 2016.
Under the new rules, antilock braking systems (ABS) will have to be fitted to all motorcycles that have an engine displacement greater than 125 cc, while ABS or combined brake systems (CBS) could be fitted to smaller ones (under 125 cc), including scooters.

so as not make lots dif versions of Scout , look like all export scouts will have ABS

Wonder what chances that gives US Scout owners of ever getting ABS options.

In Australia we have different legislation relating to bikes and safety we are paying $18,000 for the Scout . Compared to your $10,000.
Surely in the Us they should have made the ABS brakes a option for you guys most likely it will be available at a later date .

Forgot to tell you if any one is trying to work out if the scout is the right size for them I'm just six feet tall

In the spirit of different strokes for different folks... The journalist was 6'0 also, and I thought the fit looked perfect on the scout!
