i have worn Danner boots for decades. Waterproof, comfortable, vibram soles. Check out their women’s Moto GTX. The only problem is the women’s only has a six-inch rise ~~ I like to have a ten-inch minimum. Julie also has a pair of women’s fire-safety boots with vibram soles, steel toes etc that she really likes. They look like cowgirl boots and are not as industrial-looking as the danners. Unfortunately, they are made by guess who? Harley. Like you, julie does not like anything Harley but she also admits that Harley has the best line of functional women’s riding boots that also look good ~~ period.

W C Russell moccasin company of Berlin, Wisconsin is another outfit that makes American-made moccasin toed boots. While I have yet to own a pair of what they produce, I have a friend who own them and he absolutely swears by them. Other people don't like them at all. It's one of those companies that you're either all for or can't stand. I have not bought a pair yet because of reading customer reviews. I don't know if I want to drop that amount of coin on something that won't hold up the way I would expect them to.

I've looked at them also. I don't think there's a factory i haven't. Most are still designed towards men, even the womens. Women don't want to wear a man's style boot
This makes sense. I think WC Russell out of Berlin, Wisconsin is like that as well. They make a woman's boot, but it is still designed more like a man's hiking boot would be. Plus their customer satisfaction reviews seem to be more hit and miss than I would be comfortable paying that premium price for.

Have you tried Milwaukee boot company?

Exactly. The only company that is teying to draw on the womens biker crowd is harley unfortunately and I already have enough of those. I wanted a brown boot to match my bikes leather. Even klim only has 1 pair and it's mens

Have had great success with Red Backs from Australia. Been wearing the Slip-ons for years.Great for work, riding ,and everyday life. Not American made but built to last ! Cheers

509, who is owned by Polaris/indian. Did a colab with whites boots that are American made. I’ve had my set for about two years now. Worth the money. Obviously you can buy the non 509 colab ones from whites website

they’ve held up much better than my similarly priced Danner boots

Do they have womens' styles? I find it odd they'd do this when red wing makes their indian boots

Not all Redwings are made in the USA. And the Indian/redwing collaboration was only for a few sets of boots, they currently aren’t offering that colab anymore.

Yes whites boots make women’s style boots.

I went and looked. I see no womens sizes. Or styles. All men oriented again. And no motorcycle boots. 400 to 750.00 price tag.

Traditional cowboy boots with leather soles can be awfully slick on pavement. I've had my foot suddenly slide out while stopped at a light and had to react quickly to keep from falling.

Totally agree. That's why I only buy motorcycle specific boots. Cowboy boots are slick so your foot doesn't get stuck in the stirrup. I've got a ton of those having horses my entire life. Im not wearing work boots. I want the boots designed for bikera..with protection. My instructor said thats what saved his foot. He had boots with kevlar

I have a pair of Thorogood Moc Toe boots that are great. They do make a women's boot.

What dictates a womans design? My wife’s riding and work boots look the same as mine.

Work boots are work boots..riding boots i like a feminine design..go to harley and look at their womens boots. Nice girly styles . I bought a pair..not usa but ill find a pair eventually

Republic Boot Company in Houston custom builds boots to your foot. OR you may choose from there 1836 selection of boots which is much lower price. For bikes they put traction tape on your boots.
