So I’m doing some acceleration runs on my stage one Chieftain. I was shifting at 5k rpm in each gear. I saw I was doing 110mph so I coasted back to 70mph and noticed I was in fifth gear not sixth. Is this possible or did I actually downshift and not realize it....

My Stratoliner only has five gears so I was thinking maybe I did stop at five.

I was data logging with my pv3 so maybe I could tell by looking at that...

Yes, your PV3 keeps track of your gear selections. If I remember correctly, 4,000 rpm in 6th gear is somewhere North of 120mph.

I think that's more like 110. I ride mine a lot right at 100 mph and I am at 3750 rpm in 6th gear.

But either way at 5K in 6th you would be at about 130 or so at 5k by my math...
