this is what my Ma and Paw used when we left the trailer park and visited the fancy Yankee folk up north.
just ball busting ;-)
I have the Cee Baileys bag lines for my road-master.
good quality, no Polaris/Indian Tax. Cee Bailey's Indian Motorcycle Saddle Bag and Top Case Liners
They have a Indian vintage bag. I ASS-U-me the road-master classic and vintage use the same saddle bags.
something to try bud.
cheers,
Actually I got a good laugh out of that Good question about the Vintage bags. I'll have to ask.
UPDATE: The Cee Bailey's do not fit. :-(

Sorry sir,
Our liners will not work with the 2017 Roadmaster Classic LEATHER, our bags are made for the hard-cases, the leather cases are smaller.
Sorry.
I believe your email PetinMD. but man, o man. I find it hard to buy the Indian Vintage saddle bag is NOT the same as the Indian road master classic saddle bag.
it just does not make sense to me for Mother ship Polaris to have different part runs.
I bet they [Cee Bailey], have not tested it and they are giving you a canned response of no.
wonder what their return policy is.....
I called and spoke with the Parts specialist at Twigg Indian in Hagerstown MD. He researched and called me back. The Springfield bags are different from the Roadmaster Classic. The problem is that the Roadmaster leather bags are sort of pyramid shaped. Narrow at the top opening and wider at the base.
I use my sons gym bag. If you go to your local sports store they sell different size gym bags. Take a few measurements and you should be able to find a few that fit. Beats the hefty bag approach IMO.
The bags for the RM Classic and the Vintage do have different part numbers. I am not sold that they are fundamentally different in size however - may just be a different color/leather thing for the RM seat and trunk to match, or something unseen.
Since Cee Baileys makes soft liners for the Vintage, I would imagine they are "close enough" and would likely work on the RMC. I think the Cee Bailey's rep in the above email was thinking about the RM Hard Bag liners.
Torch -- were those from a previous ride...or did you size them up and go with a suitable substitute?
...wondering Indian didn't develop a simple soft instert with a handle that would fit multiple bags? A simple nylon bag/canvas or leather soft bag with a big ass Branding Logo would have been perfect for carrying into hotels.
If the leather bags are the same inside diameter check this out. I have this in my RM (hard bags) $48 bucks! I like them a lot. They say "Chieftain" on them but ole well they dropped right in. I just got them in the spring so I can't give you a long term review but so far so good. Indian Chieftain
They were from my old K1200lt, not perfect by all means,I used them on my last bike also which was a K1600gtl. Until some aftermarket makes a reasonably priced product these will do.

I have the leather bags on a '17 RMC. I use camping dry bags. Come in many different sizes, so useful for many different items. Use one to hold rain gear, one to hold a cheap bike cover, one for dirty laundry (when touring). Well, you get the idea. Amazon.
