Ok guys and girls, here's the situation.......
I purchased my 17 RM this past January. Since my purchase, I have added all the Indian accessories that I want/need.
I own a company and receive tons of rewards cards from my credit cards, so I have been able to "purchase" several thousands in accessories from Indian dealers via Amazon for NOTHING out of pocket.
I am now turning my attention to the performance portion of upgrades.

I have decided on the stage 1 slip ons AND tips, Stage 2 cams and the new Indian High flow A/C.

I can probably gather enough rewards each month to purchase and add 1 item per month.

My question is, which order would you go? Start with the pipes first? Can the High flow AC be installed without the Stage 2 cams for a month or so, or are these two married? I get that I will only enjoy a partial increase in performance until all are in place, but is it possible/recommended to add 1 at a time?

Thanks in advance for your opinions and advice!

If you're doing all the performance upgrades then you should add a tuner to your list. The PVCX seems to be the most recommended.

The air cleaner first. It comes with a flash for the ECM which will be good for the pipes also.
Read in this forum about the new air cleaner vs the first one. Also consider all the slipon options or even true deals. The stage one slipons were my last choice.

Well I dont mind other options HOWEVER, I don't want it too loud. Just a bit more than stock.
I live in a very quiet subdivision and I dont want it too loud as well.
Suggestions?

Then I would say, keep the stock pipes.

The Stage ones may be right for you. They are just a little louder than stock but more expensive than the others.

Stage 2 cams, hi flow A/C, slip-on mufflers, PVCX, and cut out the cat or wait until Fuel Moto releases their header. Keep in mind that true duals are not performance enhancing. BTW, your mufflers will be noticeably louder w/o the cat. If you chose an aftermarket slip-on, most manufacturers sell quiet baffles for their mufflers.

Thanks for the very informative input. Not gutting the cat.

I would suggest stockpiling your parts and having it all installed at the same time. Saves trips to the dealer and then you are only dealing with one ECM update (which resets everything, including you starter code).

I have basically the same setup as you: Big Sucker airbox; SII cams and pipes. I went with the Bassani slip-ons for my exhaust. I have them on three of my bikes and love the sound. They are not much louder at idle or easy throttle than my Indian S1 pipes on my Vintage, but they have a great rumble to them when you get on the gas.

Well I definitely want more sound than those, but can't/don't want really loud.
Suggestions?

I had the Indian stage one pipes installed prior to picking the bike up.(17 RM ) To me they sound awesome, nice deep throaty sound , by no means loud. They also included a flash with the installation. Reminds me of the sound my Rineharts had on the HD.

Well, for slipons, I would recommend Rush. You can change baffles (2.25" 2.5" or 3") and many tip choices. I had these before I went to Freedom Performance True Duals. To me, Rush has the meanest sound period. And much cheaper than Stage one.
