I'm looking for a replacement coil for a 51 Indian Brave. I just restored a 51 Indian Brave. Looks great, rides like a Brave.

The coil - I think a new coil would help starting the engine. The spark looks dim to me compared to experience. Does anyone know what equivalent coil I could buy?

I believe these were English bikes rebranded,you need to research Lucas and Miller as these were the common electrical suppliers over there.If Lucas ET it gets pretty specific on magnet to pole timing with point closing if I remember right.

I found a cross reference to a BSA C10,C11. I was able to order a LUCAS LU47275 6v ignition coil.
