I am in the process of changing my handlebars and dont want to break anything. Having a hard time removing the control housing. I will break stuff if I resume, I see the screw and two openings on the bottom but dont want to pry too much. anyone have the trick or am I being over cautious. thx

The L and R control housings are now made from plastic. I’m sure prying on them would mar the housing or break them. When you remove the screws, I’d think the two pieces of the control housing would separate.
