Yes, easy to assemble but can be tricky for removal when seat needs to be removed.

Thanks for responding. What is the trick to remove it? Would you buy another one based on the experience you have had with your current backrest?

Pull up to align the holes and pull backward, have to get it just right. Mine now sits on the shelf replaced with another. I now use a grasshopper one with no issues.
