Looking into a 2016 Scout and while checking the Corbin site, they have different seats for 2015-2016 and the rest until 2020. What is different after the 2016 year? And I am not just talking about seats? What upgrades happened after the first years?

I just went on the corbin site and it's the same seats for all of the scouts (2015-2020). I don't think anything changed with the body/frame.

After looking closer, it seems I was looking at the difference from the Scout and Scout Bobber---which must mean they were not made in 2015-2016.

The Bobber didn't appear until later. I think 2018 is the first year.

It might help if you clarify your question a little. Are you wondering about Corbin seats, or are you wondering what differences there are in stock Scouts between 2016 to 2020? If the latter, Pistol660 has listed a few areas where they made changes.

Search around, there is a thread here on model year differences. Off top of my head, other than paint the major ones are

2017 - rear suspension
2018 - front suspension, better tires
2019 - USB

The seat bracket should be all compatible, but not between the bobber and the scout.

I think I found the answer. Suspension seems to be the big thing and it got a pretty big knock on the 2016 review that I read. They were also not impressed with the brakes either.

I was not especially looking at seats, but I am sure something is in the future. Again--as I stated the part of the Corbin site that threw me was the different section for the Bobber and those years that were set apart.

Coming from the Victory/Harley/Goldwing/Valkyrie background, all parts were interchangeable on most models for long stretches. I just wanted to make sure that the first 2 years of production were not "one off" years where nothing else from models after that would not fit.If you ever owned a 2006 Vrod "R" model, then you know exactly what I mean.

Yes on the rear suspension, but the 60 doesn’t have the cartridge fork and pirelli tires. At least not in 2017.

Yep. They’re bleah compared to the Pirellis.

A lot of people found the Kenda tyres were not good in the wet. I was one who swapped out very early to Night Dragons. Mine were barely worn and rather than pay a disposal fee I posted them on our Aussie forum, free to anyone who wanted to collect them. Another local Scout owner was glad of them. He had no trouble with the Kendas. I guess it depends on riding style.

That is quite a list!! I’ve got the Hurican air filter with Dean Speed Rampage exhausts and PV3 tune. Do you know what horsepower you are producing now? I haven’t had mine tested but is much, much quicker and more responsive!
