I got the bike unloaded last week but today was the first chance I had to do much with it. This is how it looked this AM. I'm a less is more kinda guy so I pulled the the reflectors off the forks... I'll be doing some "flashing down" to the bike, cutting some chrome in favor of paint.

I've read that the 1920 seat is more comfy than the stock seat. Someone on this forum put non functional coil springs between the cover plate and the seat to make theirs look like an old fashion sprung saddle. I thought that was a cool idea.

Cool idea!

I've always preferred a tractor seat myself. Never had a fixed seat of that type before, I must say with the suspension on the bike it was a comfy ride.

I picked up some new grips for the vintage bar setup, very grippy with some give...
Auto part

I need some new exhaust gaskets for the RPW ambush exhaust system that's on the way... Indian wanted $24 each so I found some H-D gaskets with the same ID and OD for $10 a pair. Exhaust should be here Wednesday...

I decided I wanted something else for the thermostat cover... I bumped into a primary cover on eBay for an older Indian, maybe a Gilroy, and thought it might look good.

I'll paint it up later but I got the body roughed out and welded up tonight...
