Found a set of tan leather bags and seat.
Owner says he does not know what he wants for them and does not have an Indian.

They are in average condition and appears that someone attempted a dye job (poorly)

Based on what I have seen on here, some have resurrected 2014 beautifully.

I considered a warranty claim on my 2015 seat, but afterall, I would get the same seat and and same problem.

Prices for a full leather set have varied wildly on here and ebay. What would be your ball park offer if you had an opportunity to buy them?

I bought a 2014 distressed leather seat for $100 off ebay.

Brown Tan Bicycle saddle Caramel color Leather

...and I also bought a set of 2014 distressed leather bags for $369.00.

Musical instrument Drum Percussion Membranophone

No defects with either other than faded and someone tried a poor re-dye job.

500 dollar spread - wow. I could pop the old guy in the mouth and take them, but I think he retired from Seal Team 6

Well, that I cannot do sir. I'm out of the deglazer/cleaner at this time. I really have to clean off the dye someone haphazardly put on before I give it the "personal treatment". LOL

Have you priced these new? As you can see above ... folks have snag'd these as sets for $400 from those that don't know what they have . If I had a project bike.. and needed that leather.. I'd go as high as $900 if need be ..

Me personally, I'm always looking around and would grab a set all day long for $500

I've been looking for bags for sometime, after my fiasco with Osprey. I believe I got a really good deal though. I have seen some tan Indian bags going for $1500 for the set on e-bay but they are few and far between.

...and yes, I've been goofing off. The Mrs. says I spend too much time on the computer. [sorry]

Let's just say David and I had a serious disagreement. I can explain in a PM.

still looking for input. I now have had a good hard look at the package up close and personal. The set is seat and pillion, drivers backrest, tank bib, and bags left and right. The set came complete with fringe and even had a 2014 owners manual in new condition.

I had only seen pictures and the set seemed ok, but in person, I was astonished. Someone used a rattle can to paint all that beautiful leather. I don't have a clue what to clean that crap off with. Chime in please, I'm looking for some advice here

Depending on the type of paint used you might get it it off with a ton or resolen (sp). Another factor to consider is what color are you planning to dye when you are done. The darker reds, browns and black might cover the paint, but they might not last as long since some of the leather pours will likely be clogged with paint. The biggest problem will be how much paint was absorbed into the leather. The real question is how much money are you willing to lose and/or spend to bring these back from the dead.

They have went up some now.................surprisingly..............and you could get the whole 3 piece set bags/set for under $400 easily a year ago but I'd be no more than $450 TOPS. They are still a hassle ( to me ) and if I were you I'd offer $250 and go from there. Get 5 new $50 bills and go over and see..............LOL.

Use a pressure washer and go over them and let them dry for at least a week or so in warm air flowing place. Then dye or use linseed oil. Linseed oil is cheap and its in the vintage manuals for leather care. I use it all the time.
Pressure washer a no - go? Try a damp ( water wringed out ) terry cloth small towel and put a splash of laquer thinner or acetone on the damp rag. Thats an old trick and it will work but at any rate, you have to re - dye anyways so.................it'll work

Too bad you didn't take pics and post. You might get more input/direction? Can you share the origin pictures you were shown, before seeing in person?
