I've been on this forum for a little while now and never realized there was a thread dedicated to builds.
So here is mine so far (almost done by now).

As I bought it stock in Oct. '19.

First step: rebuild the leakiy carb.

Stripping it down. Really the only thing left was the frame, motor, trans., forks and headlight.

Test fitting a few things. XR750 replica tank and exhaust tips. And no, its not the stock exhaust. I believe it is Harley.

Worked on the chain conversion, battling the dreaded 1-7/8" mainshaft nut.

Put on bars, grips, throttle, mirror and brake master rebuild kit.

I tried an internal throttle and twist clutch for the ultimate clean look but it was a disaster.

Fired it up for the first time in months and runs great after carb rebuild and tune.
I'm just waiting on a new clutch cable and velocity stack.
