Access to the Indian brand oil in the UK is very limited and very expensive when compared with the major oil brands. One quart (litre) bottles go for £20 a pop. That makes an oil change £80 without filter or washers.($105.73).
On the other hand Motul make this stuff...for £48 for 4 litres ($63.44).

Has anybody used Repsol? In Romania there's only one representative and since there aren't too many Indians, they barely hold parts or accessories on stock. I haven't asked about oil, it was easier for me to buy Repsol full synthetic online. The only thing is I didn't pay attention and got the 10W60 instead of 15W60. I don't think there should be an issue. Amsoil I haven't found in Europe.

Have you checked the French Motul brand? They produce a fully synthetic oil at 15w60 under their 300V brand.

Yep...used it in my 2016 scout until I replaced it with a 2020 anniversary scout. That's been dealer serviced so I've not bought any since. Motul is a highly reputable brand and they are not very likely to market a substandard product. I certainly didn't have any issues.

I've just seen that the Motul website has a selector for makes of motorcycle and the Indian scout is listed - amazing - if you follow their recommendation it leads to this:
Not seen it before....
