OK. Which one of you guys snuck into my garage last year and changed my rear tire or messed up my odo? On Friday, I am changing my rear tire for the second time on my bike with an unbelievable amount of mileage. Here is the story.
When the bike was new in 2017, I rode it from Montreal to...
just picked up my new 2020 scout bobber from the dealership yesterday. Had a few upgrades done before getting her so I have for sale the oem scout bobber tires, seat, and pipes. All came off at the dealership new so zero miles on any of them. I'm located in northern Indiana.
Weve all seen them. Most are tired of seeing them.
You know the ones. Tires, Type AND Viscosity of Oil......etc erc etc.
Why not have these just in a repair and maintenance section THAT DIES NOT APPEAR on recent post and/or popular post.
Everyone will know where they are so it solves the poor...
Does anyone have a good resource for recommended tire pressures by tire/bike? I recently purchased a set of Dunlop American Elite WW Tires. The tires indicates the max load can be carried at 41 psi and the rear at 42 psi but I noticed that the dealer did not inflate the tires to...
About to renew tires (currently MC2) on my Scout and considering Cruisetec's. Only possible concern that they are not made in Europe but Brazil. RedHorse post very helpful but would welcome any comment on tires coming out of Brazil.

The OEM tires on my Roadmaster aren't long for this world. So I started shopping. I'm sticking with the stock sizes and I like the Dunlops. But the Elite 3 tires have a new brother, the Dunlop Elite 4 models.
130/90B16 Bias for the front and 180/60R16 Radial for the rear. Shopping with Google...
so i got my 2018 scout bobber about 2.5months ago and im over 10,000km already.
My rear tire from the dealer is worn right down to the wear indicators. Ive found to my surprise im riding this scout like its a touring bike but hey its awesome.
10,000k seems like low mileage to wear out a rear...
3,000 miles. $50 for the pair. Gently rode with lots of meat left.
Local cash sale only (no shipping). I will drive up to ~20 miles from Southeastern Mass area (Norfolk, MA 02056) to meet you somewhere. Near MOM's in Foxborough.
Looking for some aftermarket tires for the '16 Scout. The stock tires doesn't really inspire confidence when accelerating/decelerating on highway exit ramps on wet roads during packed rush hours. Even while riding with due caution, the rear wheel will slide when little acceleration is applied...
I have the front wheel for a 2016 Indian, (no rotors or ABS sensor) with a Dunlop E3 tire(5500 miles) and the rear wheel with rotor, pulley, spacers, tire Dunlop E3 (5500 miles) and axle asking $600 plus the ride O.B.O.
Searched around our model forum and am not seeing any tire recommendation threads here.
(There are plenty on other models, like Roadmaster Roadmaster Tire Replacement )
I have 10,000 miles on my E3 and am looking for replacement before next summer
I wanted Commander IIs. Had on my Scout...
Just wondering what everyone else's experience with a new Indian has been. The tires on my two-week-old Classic seems to be losing 2-4 pounds of pressure every day, over the course of very normal riding for 30-60 miles a day so far. I'm checking them consistently -- cold and unridden, in the...
As it's now full on summer and most of are out riding I was wondering the procedures you have taken when u have a flat. Knock on wood but I have yet to experience one, but would like to hear about how you handled it, also what type of patch kit do you carry?
Just changed my tires on my 2017 Scout. I have front and rear stock tires with only 2200 miles. I'm looking to recoup part of my installation cost so I'll sell both for $70 plus shipping. I live in the St Louis, MO area if you want to pick them up. Thanks.
