Hey everyone, Another question for all the experts and wizards out there. Soon after I purchased the bobber I noticed that the mirrors were banging into the fuel tank. There appears to be no damage to the actual metal, it is more of a smudge or paint dent. Any ideas on how to remedy this...

I thought the tank on the Vintage was five gallons. Now I know for a fact the it is 5.5. Fortunately this little experiment ended well. I would be curious to know about anyone else’s experience with an empty or near empty tank.

I noticed the gas tank on my 2017 RM will move (wobble) a tiny bit if I try and move it (I was cleaning it). Are they designed to move slightly or are they meant to be rigid?

Put gas in the bike for first time today. Tried to push the nozzle down to where the shutoff cup on the nozzle would cover the opening on the tank, wouldn't go. So I see there's a little bar down there spanning the opening. Is that normal? Do you have to fill up by eye?

Has anyone removed the gas tank from a Scout. If you have, please post a description and photos if you can. I know how to detach the bottom end, but I can't tell what is holding the front end in place. I want to route some wires under it. I want to see under it. I want to see the intake set up...
