hi i just got my leather lever wraps today from indian but apparently they are not tied and is open. The description says it has to be slid over the levers. Pls see the picture as its completely open..is this normal or a defective one?

I thought the fringe on the seat and bags of the Vintage looked cool & reminded me of the old H.D. 'street sweepers' but in the video, Leno refers to it as reminding him of the Village People. What do you think?
