Twice this week I've started riding and within a few seconds gotten a message on my display that my fob wasn't detected which started beeping the horn. Both times the fob was in my pocket.
Has anyone else experienced this?
my ‘15 Vintage would not recognize the fob when I tried to start it this morning.
I changed the battery in it, but it still won’t connect with the fob.
Any ideas what to try next?
Riding back from a 1000 mile trip Monday, on I-10 running about 75 when a message appeared NO FOB DETECTED. The bike didn't die or indicate any problem, and the message left and didn't return. Any ideas, perhaps a problem to come?
Well guys and gals,
I got my endorsement last month and yesterday I rode my first Indian Scout and I am in love! I have never had the want for a bike of my own...until now. Don't get me wrong, I love riding with Rich, it's so relaxing without a care in the world, but there is something about...
I go to the garage and roll the bike out to start her up and go to work, anddddddd.............. nothin!!!!
I try everything, I'm flipping switches, moving the kickstand up and down, pushing everything.
Dammit!!! So I push baby back into the garage and as I'm getting ready to turn the kill...
Hey guys went to go out for a quick ride and my key fob just stopped, my chieften has 160 miles and is a week old, the light comes on when I hit the saddle bag locks but it does nothing and the bike can't read it, anyone have this problem and is there a way to reset it without going to the dealer?
Can someone tell me where I can locate the Key Fob number? I opened the Fob and found a couple numbers....one four digit number and other longer number. Not sure if either of those are the correct number.
