I have the soft Indian lower closeouts and they work well for what they do when it's cold. They are still a pain to put on because they use snaps. They should be heated or left in the sun to allow the material to stretch. Mine lost a snap but was able to repair with a new snap. I prefer to ride with them off and do so as soon as the temps get above 60 degrees. There are some aftermarket versions that stay on with velcro I'd investigate.
