Well, I'm at the point of abandoning this place entirely. It used to be a fun place. Lately it just seems more like a troll fest. If the owners of this board have no problem with people who's agenda just seems to be to trash the very brand the board is supposed to represent then who am I to question it? I will say that if it was my board, I would prefer people who actually own one and opine based on real world experience- good or bad.

Not saying only owners can opine or only positive experiences belong here; but there is a big difference between folks who are generally interested in the brand and those who for other reasons just come here to trash it. Most other forums of any other type don't tolerate that sort of thing, But that doesn't seem to be the case here so I'll just exercise my right and move on. I'll keep checking in from time to time just to try to gather anything useful, but I think my posting days are over. There a lot of good folks here I'll miss. It's a shame it's gotten like this....

Damn, I can understand why you feel that way, but too much good information here like you say, just TRY to ignore the ones that bother you and put them on the ignore list.

Unfortunately a few bad apples can spoil it for the bunch. I try not to take it personally. When I hear someone posting negatively, I try to respond by posting something positive.

Yeah it ain't what it used to be.
I am not currently contributing anything else of value.
For every post of mine that moderators delete or alter I delete 10 of my own. I'll do that until my post count zeros out.

Although I agree with your statements, I implore you to consider one of the lessons I am fond of sharing:

"Never let the bad guy win".

Can't say I know "how it used to be", but I don't really know what you're talking about.

Currently, the top 5 Active Topics threads are...

    1) This one
    2) How to get a Chieftain Elite?... dude curious how you get on the good-boy list
    3) 2016 Scout Overheating problem... dude just looking for some advice
    4) Just a "little" angry today... dude griping about shoddy work at a dealer
    5) Ignoring traffic lights...my story:)... dude sharing relevant motorcycle riding content

The only one on that list that remotely resembles trolling is yours...hmmm.
Forgive the bluntness, but ironically the only thing I'm sick of on here are threads like this one talking about absolutely nothing motorcycle, Indian, or riding related - just b*tching about how people on the internet don't fit their utopian view of an Indian Forum.

I for one enjoy all the content on here. Indian related or otherwise. 99% of it is relevant to people who ride and just enjoy the motorcycling subculture. Get the sand out, go for a ride, and we'll see you back in a few days.

The op is correct. Bring a problem to the forum and some are like flies on shit. Got a bad fender, bring up, tell us how you resolved it to help others and move on. Bad dealership? Tell us what happened, how you tried to resolve it and name that dealership

If you hate your Fn ride, sell it, buy a Hardly and exercise your first amendment right to STFU

    Oh, and ignore works!!

You can always pop a cold one, pull a cork, light one up, go down to the lake at night with your other half at night and watch the submarine races, and or what ever floats your boat.

I stick to the "did you ride today" parts for sale, and "what did you do to your chieftain'

Vic riders caught hell from people like op because we voiced simple displeasure with being screwed out of support, and you're calling it quits because words upset you, not loss of support or trade in value. Indian owners caugt hell for spending 20k+ on a clacker and voicing their displeasure. God help you if polaris ever pulls the plug on Indian. You will implode.
