Cool tattoo, man. Thanks for sharing. I've considered getting the same thing.

Since tattoos kinda last for a while. I've never been a fan of getting a tattoo of anything that may not last as long as I do. What happens if you ever sell it or crash it and your next bike is a different make?

Does this mean I should cover up my USMC tattoos?

Guess it will be like my HD tattoo... just another one for the collection..

The USMC still exists and even if they didn't it would still be a part of your history. These are things that are part of who you are. I don't view brands in the same way. I just think it'd be a little odd to see someone with a brand tattooed on them using the competition's product.

Any-who, I was just throwing my two cents out on a public forum. So, take it with a grain of salt.

I wonder if anyone in 1953 thought the same thing?

Dunno. Don't really care to be honest. HD is a lifestyle image now as well as a brand still. Indian is more than a brand to some people. I grew up with Burt pictures on my walls, reading about his awesomeness.
