WOW, what you have done is incredible.

I would love to see Indian/Polaris look at what you have done. Combine what you have done with the 1200 engine bumped to around 150 HP combined with higher grade components, dual Brembo's and the like with a selling price point of roughly $15-16K.....and Watch out. :D

    Hey Inventordude,
you are truly a gifted craftsman, while what you're doing isn't my thing, you have to give credit where it's due. It is a testament to your ability to have the Scout looking so fine, and doing it yourself, kudos to you my friend, will be watching how you progress with interest.

Beautiful project, true metal smithing mastery, but the engine is not the most responsive for a sport bike modification. But what should I know...I used a ninja 250 and convert it into a cafe racer/tracker...**** it, I love Frankenstein projects.

I am so glad I came across this thread! Your work is incredible! Can't wait to see it all completed, especially the exhaust. I love when people do something different with the exhaust!

IMS 049.jpg Here are the latest pics. It was on display as the FEATURED motorcycle in the Indian booth at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Minneapolis this last weekend. Indian moved the Roland Sands and Klockworks Scouts to different locations to make room for my bike!!! Pretty cool that they did this for me. Indian said there were so many people asking about an Indian Scout sportbike that they wanted mine displayed where everyone could see it. I built the bike to help promote "Be The Match-National Marrow Donor Program" which matches cancer patients with bone marrow-stem cell donors and we generated a lot of interest in this program during the show. This is the view when you walked by the Indian booth... You couldn't miss it! LOTS of people were interested in the build and EVERYONE was touching the bodywork, which I thought was neat. I would like to thank the guys from this forum who stopped and introduced themselves and hope you liked seeing it in person.

One quick note on the exhaust. This is not the design I was planning on making but I needed the exhaust and bike completed before the show and I ran out of time to do it how I originally planned. I will try my original plan sometime but what is on the bike now looks pretty good and flows with the lines of the bike well.

I was one of the many that stopped by during the show, and I can say that the pics don't do the quality of work justice. You really have a unique piece of rideable art there!

Congratulations to you and the the Be The Match awareness campaign!

There used to be a road racing series called "The Battle of the Twins" or BOTT for short which had twin cylinder sport bikes racing each other on road courses. Your bike looks as though it could compete, but then there would no doubt have to be engine mods to be competitive. Beautiful work though!!

The BOTT would have been perfect for this bike!!! That was a great series and it would have been awesome to have been around when the Britten was being raced in that series.
