Got Hyperpro progressive springs fitted front and rear, 20w fork oil and set for my weight. Also put Michelin Commander 11 tyres on to replace the Kendas. Went for 70 mile run today on twisty back roads I know well and am well chuffed. The front is transformed, much less dive on braking, no head shakes when pushed, tracks very well going where I point it. Rear improved, though not by much as damping was not addressed, only progressive spring, but it was always the front that I felt needed the main change.
Love the solo seat and foot boards, heated grips make life easier at this time of year.
Other bits, leather bags (dyed them black myself as well as the tank pouch), rear rack, power source for satnav connected in to spare connector, tank decals, fly screen, fork gaiters. Just waiting for baffles for the Vance and Hines.
I am well chuffed, and hope I have now finished!

My bike is two years old and every time I thought I was done turns out I'm not. Paid $$ for another piece of bling from Arlen Ness which is not even available for another three weeks.

BOTTOM LINE: yer not done yet!

Oxford heated grips, used them on other bikes with very good effect. I have found them to be superior to others I have used like Honda's oem expensive offerings.
    Cheers Cris

Love th replies, I know I am never finished, but like to kid myself sometimes. You will have noted "not much improvement in the rear suspension", there the seed is already set!
Just sold my V Strom and CBR 600 F, to make way for a Suzuki GSX S 1000 FA, being delivered March 1st, got a load of bits to put on that already! So you got me, we never finish!
    Cheers Chris

Hi, got the decals from Moore Speed Racing in the U.K. Their web address: www.moorespeedracing.com
They know how to charge, but are top quality and will do any colour combination.
    Cheers Cris

I thought America was the Imperialist nation, stealing everything from the rest of the world... you know like the Iraqi oil we never took, or the land in Europe (okay we asked for some to bury our dead after WWII)? Personally, I'm glad someone else took that moniker... we could use a break... :)
